NIKE RISE - LOGO ANIMATION
I was invited by AKQA to animate idents and Icons for their second round of the Nike rise project.
These were done as a sort of side project while waiting for client feedback.
Thirty players were drafted from a region-wide search in China to be coached by LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. Nike Rise consisted in using motion-tracking drills and reactive visualisation all integrate on the floor as a giant LED screen. Throughout the process the players had to go through different houses in order to become the final three to be selected to represent China at the World Streetball Championships.
I was so Lucky that Ted Regklis offered to do the sound design for me. I think he did a really great job. So please turn up those speakers :)
